I have a new Makita charger 18v DC18SD. Can anyone tell me if the charging lights are supposed to light up. Mine doesn’t. My batteries are BL 1815N.
Welcome to the forums. If your lights aren’t working exactly the way the panel labeling indicates, exchange it.
The lights should light up. As ToolBane stated, the labeling panel should indicate what is going on.
