I have an old DeWalt RAS, this one had ON / OFF buttons in the “nose” above the saw. When I got my saw, there was no switch, just holes. So I have a wall-type power switch on a box on the side of the saw. Not very convenient. I am making a replacement switch (really two buttons) – 3D printed parts with a heavy duty toggle switch behind it all. I am still tweaking but it looks really good. If anyone is interested let me know. I can provide the 3D files or may be able to make the parts for you.
Welcome to the forum.
This sounds cool.
Please provide images and also progress updates.
I’ve inherited a Dewalt Radial Armstrong (circa. 1960), and the ON/OFF Power Switch is faulty, so I need a new one.
Apparently these switches were made in low current and high current (15-18Amp) versions, and I need the H-igh Current version.
I would be interested in buying one from you, if it will work for my situation.
Do you have a source for the toggle switch that you use ?

Hi, I have the same issue and have been looking for a replacement switch unit without luck. It originally had a lock key set up but that’s long gone as well.
Dan Meeks, I would be interested in the 3D printer file for the button.
