I finally got around to installing my Router Raizer router lift kit designed for routers that are incompatible with your typical router lift. I had an old Porter Cable I got from my uncle who used to own a cabinet shop. Installation was alright.
It took longer than what the directions said it would but seems like it always does. Some of the steps seemed odd like hammering on a socket to remove a metal post. I am kinda underwhelmed with the final product. The amount of vertical travel is maybe 1/4 in to 1/2 in. I would have liked some more travel especially for straight bits but maybe it won’t be a huge deal.
