I was wondering if you guys might be able to give me some ideas on this little project.
I was trying to figure out a way I could make a slide out shelf , for my cordless chopsaw.
I normally setup my saw on its stand.
I was thinking sometimes I just have one or two pieces of quarter round or transitions to cut , or if it is raining out I would be able to cut the material right inside my trailer .
I would like the shelf to be able to lock so it does not slide out while I was driving . The shelf is 24” wide and I think if it slid out 18-20” I’d would begood. The saw weighs 45 lbs.

Hmmm. slide out shelf would be easy, my only concern is the downward pressure when cutting and breaking the shelf hardware.

The weight capacities on some of these options would be more than enough.
