Anybody tried out this new WIFI garage door opener from “Chamberlain” ? Says it works with any opener made after 1993. Thinking about getting one. Any thoughts?
Not sure about WiFi which is a totally different standard but wireless garage doors were standardized which is why for instance new vehicles come with built in buttons. We’ve had to replace the buttons on ours. You just hit the programming button on the door controller from a step ladder then the remote. On some you can do it all from the remote. Kind of like Bluetooth pairing.

I don’t know if other brands have this feature but ford has a universal garage door opener built into their vehicles.
It’s made by Chamberlain and works with your current GD opener and your WIFI and an app on your phone. I sent it back because I couldn’t get it to work with the opener that I have. Oh well, live and learn.
I bet it would be expensive to have one installed.
