Looks like we won’t see these until early next year. Third time they have been delayed now!? Why advertise it when you can’t provide it? So annoying!
Delayed where? They’re on the market in the UK.
I thought they were available too. Maybe they are for sale but just awaiting for new stock?

£269 each!?!
I live in UK but buy most of my Dewalt gear in US. Currently sat on a 747 heading home with a 60V blower in the hold.
Have two 12Ah batteries ($199 each) and two 20V sanders ($94 each with BF code) on order and will pick those up when I’m back in February.
They are listed for $249AUD but says available from the 7th of Jan. Originally it was available on the 30.10 then 07.12 now 07.01 on the Sydney tools website. Total tools have them for special order. It’s strange the way they work here, I bought my dcs690 from Sydney tools in port Melbourne, no other Sydney tools store stocked it at the time, and total tools got it over a month later. Wouldn’t you think it’s released on the same day everywhere? Something to do with the deals the store owners make with the company so I was told.

The 12.0s have been in the country for 1.5 month waiting for fumigation. Stores will start receiving stock on Monday. Not really dewalt Australia’s fault. It’s customs
Amazon has them in USA for 199.99
I went into Sydney tools yesterday and picked up the blade left saw. I asked about 12.0 battery’s and they said they got a shipment I. Already but they are yet to be sent out to stores! So it shouldn’t be too much longer hopefully sometime next week
Can’t wait! I can’t fit the 12ah milwaukees with the adapter into the dcs690 which is the only dewalt tool I really need them for. The table saw is fine with 9’s for the amount of time I use it. I see Sydney tools sent a promo email today with it advertised for $249 saying ‘limited stock’.
As for customs, typical but good to know!
I honestly feel like the 12ah is a rip-off compared to the 2 for 200 9ah. So for me 12ah is out of the question until price drops
I agree 12 is just not worth the coin yet.
We do t have that deal here in aus. It’s more like 2 9.0 for around $400. 12ah is $249 so 2 for $500. So 6 extra ah for 100 is worth it IMO.
I wish we had 2 x 9.0 for $200. 1 x 9.0 is still $199 here and there are no bundles anywhere. Some places even sell the milwaukee 12.0 for $349, pretty much forcing you to buy a kit as I ended up doing if you want a 12.0.
if you take into account the exchange rate of AUS$ and US$ then the 9.0/3.0 is actually cheaper in Australia.
Just picked up 2 12’s at total tools today.
you can check their stock on the website and check each store to see who has them in. Can’t wait to test out runtime

Even the 12.0 is cheaper in Australia than America

Everyone should have stock. They got delivered to most stores last Wednesday-Thursday
Will check it out this weekend. Let us know how the runtime is 👍
There out here…I have 6 of the 12ah. You gotta take advantage of the sales.i got them at a great deal…not a bad price on Amazon for $199…
…big difference using the 12ah over the 9ah…
