I’m curious as to what Festool is going to come out with next.

I wonder if anything will be unveiled in the Summer or Fall? Maybe at Festool Connect in Indiana if that is happening this year?

Bluetooth sander battery coming. So far confirmed for Europe but I wouldn’t be surprised if it came to NA too. It even works with the new mini/midi vacs.

@Jronman..does that mean the Bluetooth sander will turn my midi on and off ?

no because you have to have the new Midi and the new bluetooth battery. The sander itself is not bluetooth just the battery. Your old cordless sander should work with the new batteries. There is no adapter available for the old Midi that I know of.

Thanks, definitely not buying a new midi or sander…the ec125 cordless  is great and the rotex 150 is a beast…

….. probably get the new flexvolt Bluetooth vacuum to use in the shop

I’ve been eyeballing the CT SYS to go with my 36.  Then again, that one isn’t bluetooth enable-able, but I can at least agree on the sentiment.

New Kits coming April 1st. Basically the old airstream kits will now have bluetooth battery kit options. Also the sanders will have bluetooth kit options as well. Most kits you can upgrade to the bluetooth batteries for only $20 extra which seemed pretty reasonable. Other kits have the same price for the bluetooth kit as the normal kit. The TSC55 kits are the worst deal at a $40 increase over the non bluetooth kits.
