Starts on Tuesday. Goes until Friday.
I think we can expect a fair bit of tools to be shown off.
Maybe we could post any updates on here.
Great idea
I bet most of the news will be on Instagram tomorrow that’s where all the tool news seems to drop now.
I wonder what Metabo will bring to the table this year.
I hope we get info on the triple hammer Metabo Impact.
They have lots being shown!StrippedScrew wrote:

I am sure you saw this at stafda but they now officially launched it. The Flexvolt 9” cut off saw.

The new Dewalt Flexvolt rotary hammer. Nice to see the battery getting some more tools and support behind it. Loving the bigger tools going cordless

The new Dewalt rotary laser which is Bluetooth. Some cool features but one cool feature is the ability to set the degree from your phone.

Is this just a charger not a new power station and is that 90 minutes for the 9.0 flexvolt?
Just charger. All charge at same time. Clips to ToughSystem. 90 min is for 9.0ahBiggie wrote:

That charger sounds pretty nice. I like the tough system compatibility. Also they specifically mention it works with 12v batteries. Maybe that is a sign of more 12v to come? Sounds like every slot charges at the same time and at the fast charge speed. I wonder what the price will be. I think $100 would be a reasonable price.

I like the charger but what’s really the point when there is the power station

Power station is bulkier and is a very slow charger.rcarnes911 wrote:

New charger will charge 4x 9.0ah batteries in 90 minutes. That’s really nice.
I can see the use but it would only be a garage charger for me, to big to carry around and in the garage it does not really need to be fastThe.Handyman wrote:

Hilti’s new water and dust control for diamond coring. Only uses 4 gallons of water but is the same as around 35 gallons. A full days worth of work.

I could see its value on the jobsite. It would depend on the situation. I would rather take one charger instead of 4 on some jobs but may only need 1 or 2 on other jobs. I would agree in my situation a garage is probably a better fit.
Kind of disappointed in Dewalt’s releases. Not necessarily in the usefulness, just the limited number.
I was really hoping to see an updated 20v brushless 7 1/4” or 10” miter saw and 20v jigsaw (barrel grip). I’m not waiting on the 120v Flexvolt table saw but I know many are.
They have about 17 different radios and lights, but a Flexvolt vacuum and more Tough System components seem like they would be in high demand.

There are a few new tough system items this year. We got the new 2 drawer, a 3 drawer, van rack, an insulated box/cooler (only seen the Europe version but we can hope it comes to North America), and 4 port fast charger. I might have missed some but those are what are coming. Some of those things you mentioned like the barrel grip are supposedly coming but not officially announced yet. Some guys who are in the know have said they are coming.
WOC is going to be more about masonry and concrete releases. I bet most of the woodworking stuff will be this summer or just announced when ready.
