What where? Not that I remember. There was someone with a retail store trying to solicite
under tool battery manufacturer
Hey guys. Yeah, I am moderating his posts. Did not really want to let that out of the bag, I get enough flak from some of the crew when I have to be a moderator.
Untill he gets permissions from Eric he cannot post links to his sales site as it is a violation of TIA policy. We have, on occasion, new members post on TIA and try to advertise their business without seeking permissions first. It’s free advertisement using our forums to facilitate it. Seems like a great guy but until this member receives permissions from TIA I had to freeze and moderate his posts.
Also to be clear, I don’t think he knew he had to do this. Generally speaking when I moderate a member or nail a spammer I keep it to myself, Eric and the other mods. Discussion is kind of kept low. I had a real issue when I had to bounce a past member that was causing some issues within the forum. Obviously I don’t like doing this but the rules are the rules. Eric will be back next week and hopefully Ken will follow the directions I gave him and I will lift the restriction so he can participate as much as he likes. Again, sorry about this, hate to see this stuff get out to the members and go wild. Chris

Oh that musta been real recently.
That’s understandable Chris, it needs to be that way across the board for everyone.
I received a message about the giveaway from him and he mentioned about not being able to post, what about, I don’t know.
But since I’m a huge fan of these batteries, I was more than eager to pass the word along about these new ones. And when mine arrive I’ll no doubt sing their praises too.
The two subjects are completely coincidental and I hope someone here snags a battery!

even at that way to hot, its just like air conditioning, don’t need to much of a heat difference to keep warm with that kind of temps you’ll want to take it off and then you get sick to hot to cold…..

Yeah. I don’t know how the gloves work (that’s what he was referring to for the temp difference) but I can adjust the temps on my jacket.
We’ll see how it goes

I was watching with volume off and subtitles on. subtitles told me 260 haha. I wondered why it was so much.
Being from Savannah GA I will leave this giveaway to you guys up North.

I thought the same! I’m from Tx, so even though we have “cold” right now, I’d never get the chance to properly test it.

Dry cold……. right….. you ever been to Michigan?!?!?!??!?! Foot of snow one day and freezing rain the next, this past week we’ve gotten above freezing every day BUT below at night Very wet and Icy. Great Lakes ring a bell it gets almost as humid as Florida! We have a bizarre phonomenom calld the Lake Effect.

I concur
Literally have had icicles on my clothes and have yet to get cold enough to want these. I don’t have the batteries or adaptors anymore for my heated jackets so they’re all in the just in case my legitimate clothing gets wet space behind my seat.

I really wanted the 3 in 1 heated jacket, but i have the regular jacket from last year, and i’ll be fine with it for the foreseeable future…
The biggest thing is i wear it under a “shell” jacket, it’s one that is provided by work with the company logo and my name, it’s a huge help doing that!
I love it because it’s thin enough that it doesn’t add much bulk when i’m working inside and then doing some work outside the house for a bit, then coming back inside… constantly going in and out of houses… add to that there are a lot of things that require small hands-on work and not a lot of heavy lifting for my body to generate enough of its own heat. I can shut it off when i go inside and unzipper if i need… then quickly zipper back up and crank the heat when i go back outside…
I wear short sleeves and shorts.

LOL
I can’t whine, I grew up 12 miles inland from Lake Michigan and things were pretty consistent, it would snow and stay snow covered for the winter, with more snow here and there and maybe quite a few feet of it in total, didn’t get much below 10 degrees either.
Now in Ohio, it’s about 50 degrees right now, and it was -10 late December, and all over the board, last night it rained too much, now tomorrow it will probably be too windy, maybe we’ll see some more snow, but i wouldn’t bet on it
I don’t know what you guys are complaining about, today I was at the vets and they barely had the A/C on, the high was 84 today.

That makes me wonder if these batteries could be used with Makita’s fan cooled jacket. I bet they can be

I like wearing my m12 hoodie under a light yet wind resistant shell. If it’s not windy I’ll use it under my carhartt shirt jacket. I have also used it in the rain with my under armour storm… hoodie…rain poncho… thing. I don’t remember what they call it, but it’s a super light rain hoodie. Works very well actually! The outside of the under armour hoodie would be wet(and dry very quickly), and the m12 would stay completely dry!

So you were given shipping details right? Can you track it? I wonder if they’re waiting for everyone to get their info in first before they send them out individually…
