First cuts of the plywood. Any guesses. Using 4’x 4′ sheet of 3/4″ ply. [External image (uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com), not copied]

Nope don’t look at me I hate guessing games…;)
But I will keep tabs to see what you’re up to!
Sawdust ?
Go Rich! I’m on the way myself!
All the further I got before I had to get the youngest up and then supper. There are actually 2 angled pieces. They are still taped together.

Besides a quick sanding she is all done! I’ll do that later. I still need to actually find a spot to put it as well. Lol. I made the left two rows smaller for my pipe clamps. The rest will hold parallel clamps. Don’t have many now but hope to change that.

Great work Rich, looks awesome!
Looks great Rich !!!
Thanks guys. Pretty simple build. Fix this build that has an article on his website about the build so you don’t need to buy the plans for this one.

link to the build article in case anyone wants to build their own.

@rrich1 will it be a french cleat? Have you seen the clamps prototyped by Andrew Klein?

havent decided on how it will attach to the wall yet. do you have a link for what you are talking about?
@Jronman thats pretty sweet.
@rrich1 I like how it applies pressure 4 ways instead of 2 ways. Far as I know, the only thing of his coming to the market so far is his saw blade and will be sold by rockler if I remember correctly. I hope the clamps become a thing cause they look really useful.
They really do. Basically a different type of caul.

could be great for solid wood tops
Nice job dude. I like that website too,
He should pull his videos and patent it before someone steals it…. Nice idea.

I believe he has submitted patents for his stuff but I’m not sure if they have been accepted or not.
Finally got the rack up. Moved two long shelves to the other side of the garage. The f clamps are just there to see how they fit. Them being angled I’m sure will drive me nuts so I don’t think they will be staying. Put my belt sander and multi tool on top for now. They are not often used. Looks good. I need to do something long term for clamps. I am clamping them to a board and it looks/works OK but screwing down clamps to secure them over my head is not much fun.
I have a mix of clamps but mostly those F Clamps. Be anxious to see what you come up with.

I have more f style clamps that I have hanging from a peg board. It works well and am able to keep them higher and out of the way. Not sure yet if I will move them over to the rest or not.
I have 1 possibly 2 more wall mount items I want to do in that area. Next project though isn’t wall mounted. I might be able to get that one started next week. We will see though.
