I find myself in Home Depot more than a normal person should be. When I am there I always walk by the Makita display that shows all the new 12v options they have and I inevitably start salivating. I just think they are perfect for small everyday jobs.
The new Makita 12v stuff is pretty nice I like my Milwaukee M12 Fuel stuff but I will admit is big and bulky compared to what other companies are offering right now.
I have their brushed drill, driver and impact and the trim saw, nice tools to use on lighter duty work, the impact will heat up pretty good on longer fasteners though

I have a Makita ros sander that I love love love. I also salivate when I see their tools. I’m new to using tools and diy, and I’d love to have a workshop with a lot of Makita tools. 😀 They’re so elegant.
