Haven’t had a chance to use it much. I’m in love with it, but I think I need to let it go so it can spread it’s wings.
It’s an absolute beast of a router and probably the last one you will ever buy. Couple it with a Bosch RA 1181 Router Table and your heaven.
This sells for about $280 brand new but selling to the crew for $160 free shipping.

Been thinking of doing something about my Porter cable 890…. The bases don’t like staying put, I have to watch or they can slip. Plunge base is the worse so I haven’t used it for years. Seems like a poor design for keeping the height locked.
How does the height adjustment work on this one?

Yea its pretty common on porter cables pretty dumb design have seen it on a couple porters
Can anyone tell me the difference between this router and the Bosch 1617? This one has a slightly stronger motor, but aside from that, I don’t know enough about routers to know why this one costs $100 more.
