I have a ton of very high-end lighting that I’m looking to get rid of. I wanted to post here to get your thoughts or see if anybody needed before I posted to a commercial lighting forum or Amazon. Please let me know if you have any questions about any of the pictures. I have multiples of each thing posted as well as a vast majority of other things…

These LED ballast go for around $150 or so online:

This unit allows your lighting to be on the network and fully controllable – around $160 on Amazon.

So I’d like to acknowledge my ignorance up front in this before I start. There, done.

Anyway, can you tell me why those power supplies are so expensive?  I recently put in some led strips with a hard wired 60w power supply and that only set me back like $45. Now, mine couldn’t handle 277v input, but I don’t if you run commercial lighting off of 220/240 where that would be necessary.

Is this a case of higher quality, commercial grade parts are just more expensive or is there more going on that these things do that my dinky, cheapie power supply can’t?

Those look like they are parts for  medical film illuminators.
