ok so what better way to test out the accuracy of the Ridgid table saw?………………….make a funky cutting board…

started with a few pieces Black Ash, Maple, and Padauk……set table saw to cut 0.0500″ or just little less than 1/16″ (I know crazy right?, it cut them perfectly)

cut a bunch of them……( just a FYI if you ever work with Padauk wear a mask, it cuts like glass and gives off more of a powder than sawdust and this powder stains so don’t wear a white shirt)

Soak them in warm water then dry fit them (no glue yet) to form a curve…..just a few at a time to get close to shape before glue up…..

more to come…..
