$3,000.49…. Bare tool….
Good looking tool, I’m sure it’s great … Well beyond my homeowner / hobby needs … Especially with the $$$$$$
Either way, I think I will stay team yellow .. Regular 20v max works for me …
?????

LOL !!
When are they releasing the prices I’m hoping the recip saw isn’t too expensive but than again its all new stuff so I reckon there be a premium on it.
I just bought the brushless recip, with a charger and 6.0 ah battery for $279.

Actually my wife, at the time my girlfriend, bought me the TS55REQ track saw for Christmas three years ago!

You know, you don’t seem to mind.
They’re rich person hemorrhoids.
Hahahaha. Nah I appreciate a fine tool when I see one. Only problem is I’ve never actually seen one. =-P

Somehow I don’t think it’s the festool killing your wallet. Well played on her part as the perfect distraction though.
Amen brother!

Guy nailed it and I agree 115%, please Dewalt…you spoil us with blade left for years and leave us hanging…BLADE LEFT SAW PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
It looks their current offerings, brushed 6.5″ saw and a metal cutting saw. I see a new flashlight similar to the 12v light. That could be cool.
I am seeing what looks like a 2nd drywall screwdriver with a black nose cone.

That’s their torque setting fastener contraption… Dial the torque for screw setting application like corrugated roofing, metal fastening stuff like that, someone started I thread I think for that one

Pretty exciting, don’t be shy to share your experience when you get it!
I have really been eyeing this saw but one thing has me holding back…no rafter/lumber hook! Seems like a normal thing to have today. Why did they leave that off?

I agree, a folding option could be useful. Fixed would be a no go, though.
Why the need to highlight the electric brake? Is it better than average? My Fuel units have them, I thought it was a standard feature on quality saws?

Ford had a press event to inform the public they had reinvented the cup holder. It’s just marketing man.
Holy shit that’s hilarious! Pretty slick cup holder to boot hahaha

Yet…it still holds cups. Just like cup holders have since 1983. BUT OMG SLIDING BAR OF REVOLUTIONARY DESIGN TAKE MY MONEY.
Love the rafter hook on my fuel saws, and my standard ordinary cup holder too LOL

seriously
As ridiculous as it sounds I have thought about grabbing an extra insert for my truck to have 4 cup holders. Water/coffee. The door cup holders are garbage in my Silverado, and the door handles interfere with one of the 2 in the doors.
As to extensive global research from Ford: I want my cup holders to hold cups. I need them to hold cups. Could have saved them so much money.

Yep. I could also use a hammer and a chisel, but I prefer to do things sensibly, and trying to force myself into ambidexterity is far removed. Dewalt already supports and produces blade left saws so I’m not asking for much, ya know? Now they are the ones going against their own grain.
