Before I start, I just want to say sorry. I know I am sounding like a broken record, but when it comes to measuring tools, no one competes against Bosch. As an end user you can pick anything from a simple distance measurement tool all the way up to a tool that has all the bells and whistles. It doesn’t matter which one you pick, they are all easy to use and all very durable. Speaking of a higher end distance measuring tool, today we are covering the Bosch GLM 100C which is not only a distance measuring tool, but also has Bluetooth which will transfer to your phone and this is just the start of this tool. Before I get started I want to apologize again as this tool has so many awesome features we just can’t cover them in this article or video.
Looking at this tool you can see it’s small size which means you can put it in your pocket or use the included case to keep on your side. I am not going to go into all the buttons, but the buttons are well laid out so you don’t have to cycle through multiple options to find what you are looking for. Just a couple of the measurements with this tool are distance, area, volume, angles and more. The awesome thing about this tool is the ability to connect with your phone. While that is all cool, it doesn’t mean anything if you don’t have a well designed app. Fortunately for Bosch they have an awesome designer who knew how to make one of the best and easiest apps around. You can take measurements right from the phone, take pictures and insert lines, notes, measurements and more. I could seriously make this a ten part article on all the stuff this tool can do, but I don’t want to bore you and I am too lazy. This is my favorite measuring tool hands down. This has a boat load of features, added with the well designed phone app and the low price, this is a steal and a must buy.
