You get a new vehicle drive through a mud puddle and wham! The entire side of your truck is caked with mud splattered up the sides like in the picture above. You need mud flaps to fix this issue, but do you really want to drill into your new vehicle in an area prone for rust? I think not! So we did some searching and found WeatherTech No Drill Mud flaps. We used part numbers: #110003-120003 for this application.
I have always been a firm believer in WeatherTech floor mats, they have always done me well and are made right here in the USA. I ordered the mud flaps through weathertech.com and they arrived promptly. 2 things I really like about these mud flaps was that they are a digital fit and no drill through metal. The entire install took less than 20 minutes using existing and included hardware. There was no drilling the mud flaps are a perfect fit and with the ingenious locking system, they install tight and flush. It was a simple install with OEM results, the flaps look amazing and also give a great level of protection. So check out WeatherTech, they have a lot of different products and are custom to your vehicle.
Above you see the flaps are doing their job.
Here you can see the truck after many rainy days of driving and no sign of road spray.
We came across an F150 that had dealer installed Weathertech mud flaps, they are still like new. Weathertech is the only Mud Flaps I will ever own.
Do you know what the part numbers on those mud guards were? It looks like you’ve got the same 2011 I’ve got, with the same running boards. Thanks!
110003 front and 120003 on the back. They are holding up awesome! You cant go wrong. Thanks!
Will the part # 110003 fit a 2011 fx4 ecoboost with the running boards like you have on the lariat. My fx4 has the plastic factory lip moulding. When I go to the weather tech site they state that they only have the rear pair available. I really want to order the weather techs but they say they do not have the front ones available.
Hi Ken, It should fit. Our ecoboost has the lip molding, You can always return them if they do not.
Weathertech claims that if you have factory running boards the front sets will not work. That is why when you put in the specifics they only show you rear set is available. The pictures above show factory boards and fronts seem to fit although looks as if the flaps almost rub against the running board. How much clearance is there actually?
Hi Ryan, they fit perfect for me. The clearance is tight they is a hair gap between the flap and the running board. I know they made a few different running board styles but, part #110003 on the f150 pictured fit perfect. Hope this helps!
Just found out you can also adjust the running boards by loosening the mounting hardware underneath and can then slide running board back an inch or so to give yourself a little more room.
I was curious about that, Mine just happened to fit. They are great Mud flaps!
