We all know that Klein makes some of the best hand tools around, but recently I just found out how great their Tradesman Pro Backpack is. Can I end a sentence with is? Not sure, but the one thing I am sure of is if your looking for a mobile backpack that is tough and easy to organize, then you might want to take a look at the Klein backpack.
The Klein backpack has 39 pockets to store your tools. It’s not just a coincidence that the inside of the tool bag is orange, it actually has a function. With the inside of the bag being orange, it’s much easier to to see your tools. The bag opens nice and big. You can open it up and layout your tools for easy access. There is even room to toss in a drill. The bottom of the bag has a molded rubber shell to help protect your tools and keep the bottom of the bag from getting wet. One thing I wish it did have was a hook on the bag in case you are standing, you can hang your bag next to you instead of bending down.
I bought one a while back . I’m pleased with it . Comfortable to carry even when heavily loaded . One of these days I might get a Veto , but the Klien has a good ratio of price to functionality .

Have you guys checked out any of the Dead On Tool Bags and Belts you can get at the Home Depot? They look rugged enough but how about longevity?
Honestly the Dead On Tool Bags don’t stack up… Purchased the Electricians rig (
http://www.homedepot.com/p/Dead-On-Tools-3-Piece-Professional-Electricial-Suspension-Rig-HDP411014/202311437 ) and the pockets started to rip out within a WEEK and shortly after the suspenders broke. then I purchased a CLC rig ( http://www.grainger.com/product/CLC-Tool-Pouch-w-Suspenders-1LWK6?s_pp=false&picUrl=//static.grainger.com/rp/s/is/image/Grainger/1LWK6_AS01?$smthumb$ ) and I am VERY pleased with is the handles make it nice to carry when not wearing and the pockets are holding up much better.. the only downside would have to be the outerpockets are big so I will load them up with connecters to the point were the bags heavy. but for 7 dollars more the CLC bags are a no-brainer
I have a co-worker that has had one for 13 months. One shoulder strap is completely ripped out of the bottom, and the other is held on by 3 threads. He can’t use it as a backpack any more. Klein said no warranty, and Homer said only 30 days return policy. Sure makes me want to run right out and get one, NOT!
I just looked at Klein’s warranty they should warranty the bag under their lifetime warranty. I would try and work up the social media chain, but that’s not the point they should take care of their customer first. http://www.kleintools.com/content/warranty-product-group
I dont see where it says this bag has lifetime warrenty
