I know a shovel isn’t sexy or interesting but for those of us who need a quality shovel but don’t want to pay through the roof, finding the right shovel is like finding a needle in a haystack. Well, today I have a cool shovel to talk about. It’s a mini shovel which is great for around the house for gardening and more. But even the professional who is digging holes, this is an awesome shovel and one I would use for installing lines, piping and more. So let’s take a look at the Stanley mini shovel.

Stanley Mini Shovel – Impressions
Picking up the shovel, you can feel the quality right off the bat. The D-Handle is nice and large so if you are wearing gloves, it’s not going to feel tight and be hard to insert or remove your hand. The fiberglass handle is thick and not a flimsy piece of fiberglass. The head of the shovel is solid and a thick piece of steel so it won’t bend, even under heavy use. Even the way the head is attached to the body of the shovel is solid.
It’s winter here in Chicago but I know in spring I will give this a good work out, especially since I will be using it to dig up my bag yard and install a bunch of pipe for electric, drainage, and gas.
Stanley Mini Shovel – Wrap Up
The bottom line, this is a solid shovel for the homeowner and even the professional. For $27 dollars, I think it’s a great value. It’s one of those shovels you pick up and you know it will last for years to come.
