Before we get started I wanted to let you know the stand is sold separately.  We just wanted to show you both of them together.  If your not familiar with Ryobi, Ryobi is sold through Home Depot and their claim to fame is pro features at affordable prices.  Well with this miter saw, Ryobi stuck to their tag line.  This 10″ compound sliding miter saw runs for about $200 which is a lot lower than most saws on the market.  However this offers some of the same features the more expensive saw offer such as a reliable laser, miter detent override, large bevel capacity and more.

As for the stand, we were very surprised at the quality of the stand.  It’s easy to set up, easy to move and easy to set the saw in place.

If you are in the market for a sliding compound miter saw and don’t want to spend a lot of money, this saw makes a great alternative to some of the more expensive models.
