Ab5

We always yap about how great the Rolair JC10 is.  But now there is a new Rolair that we can gloat about, the AB5 Buddy.  The half horsepower compressor only draws a measly 4.6 amps.  It delivers 1.4 cfm, 125 psi and weighs 25lbs.  This compressor is perfect for anyone needing a small lightweight compressor.  Best of all it is really quiet!

The unit includes : Start/Stop Pressure Switch, Roll-Cage Design to Protect Pump/Motor, Safety Relief Valve, Intake Filter, Ball Valve Drain Cock, 4.6 Amp Motor, Pressure-Relief Valve, Air Line Regulator and Pressure Gauge, 1/4″ Universal Coupler.

Check out the Rolair Buddy via Amazon.

  1. Have a VT25BIG and JC10….love them both! Use JC10 for just about everything! Rolair customer service is also awesome!!!!!

  2. I have a California Air works in my construction trailer… I love it. Its supper quiet.. You should look them up.

  3. Seems like a very quite, nice little unit. If I needed a new one I would be checking that one out. Right now the one I have works fine, (craftsman) it is loud as hell though.

  4. That is an awesome looking compact compressor. The best part is the Rolair quality and quietness. I can’t sand most pancake compressors that blarrr sound is the worst thing ever. I would tell someone to get a Ryobi airstrike over a cheap compressor and pneumatic tool. I just hate that sound so much its like nails on a chalkboard.

  5. Looks like the same pump and motor as the Senco PC1010 but with typical Rolair excellent frame and gauge set up. Just makes the Senco look like a Harbor Freight product. (Which it isn’t)

    1. I bought a Senco PC1010N at Menards last year, and it sounds identical, the mechanicals look the same. It’s a great little compressor. The Rolair looks a bit more rugged.

Definately not harbor freight… my other compressor is a campbell hausfield that is loud as hell.
