We have a ton of new tool news from Milwaukee, The press releases are below.  We will try and review these tools one on one in the upcoming months, we already reviewed the pliers and they are awesome!  That review is here.  Milwaukee keeps amazing us with their innovative, lightweight and tough hand tool line up.  We had a hands on with all the new hand tools last month and were impressed with the everything that we saw.  Milwaukee is headed in the right direction by staying focused and listening to its core users.  5 years ago Milwaukee Tool was just another tool company , now they are a top player.  Only time will tell how they do up against the major hand tool brands, but I would say they have brought some good cards to the table.

 

Milwaukee® Introduces Industry’s First 6 in 1 Combination and Long Nose Pliers

MILWAUKEE, WI- Milwaukee Tool continues to expand its Hand Tool offering with the introduction of the industry’s first 6 in 1 Combination Pliers and Long-Nose Pliers. In addition to standard pliers applications, the innovative new tools can be used for reaming pipe, cutting wire, stripping wire and making loops. The 6 in 1 Combination Pliers also have the ability to cut bolts, while the 6 in 1 Long Nose Pliers can easily pull nails.

MILWAUKEE, WI- Milwaukee Tool continues to expand its Hand Tool offering with the introduction of six new snips that are made with corrosion resistant metal to protect the tools from rust and deliver 10X longer life than the competition.

Milwaukee® Introduces Pump Pliers with New-To-World Reaming Feature

MILWAUKEE, WI- Milwaukee Tool continues to expand its Hand Tool offering with the introduction of five pump pliers that feature a new-to-world reaming head for easier and more efficient deburring of pipe. The new additions include 8”, 10” and 12” Quick Adjust Reaming Pliers designed with the Electrician in mind, as well as 10” and 12” Tongue and Groove Pliers that are better suited for Plumbing applications.

“No other hand tools on the market integrate a reaming feature into the design of the tool. Users are forced to either carry a separate reaming tool or modify their pliers by exposing the metal at the bottom of the handles,” says Tim Albrecht, Director of Product Marketing- Hand Tools for Milwaukee Tool Corporation. “We solve these key user frustrations by designing each product with features that increase productivity on the jobsite.”
For example, the 8”, 10” and 12” Quick Adjust Reaming Pliers not only have a reaming head for deburring 1-1/2” to 2-3/4” pipe, they also include the industry’s first reaming handles for deburring up to 1” conduit. A narrow head allows the tools to fit into electrical boxes and fasten in lower profile areas, and the V-Notched jaws are specifically designed for a precise fit on electrical fasteners. A quick-adjust, push button design allows the user to make a fast, one-handed adjustment when going from one size of pipe to another.

Featuring an exclusive, replaceable double- ground steel blade and an all metal core, the new tool delivers welcome innovation, as well as unmatched durability and tool life to the tubing cutter category.

  1. The 6 in 1 pliers will save the professional electrician countless hours from not haveing to search for and carry 3 different tools to strip, ream,loop and you can also cut your smaller #6 & #8 bolts.
