Husky Compressor Review

What comes to your mind when you hear Husky?  No, I am not talking about the dog, I am talking about the tool brand.  I can’t say for sure, but if you ask someone, I am pretty sure they will describe Husky as a brand sold at The Home Depot, that is inexpensive and designed for the homeowner.   At least that’s how I think of the brand.  Recently we were out in New York and had a chance to visit with Husky and some other brands.  While we were looking at the Husky products, this compressor caught my...

Husky Flashlights – Unbreakable Aluminum Flashlight

Let’s face it, there are a ton of flashlights available on the market today.  You can buy anything from a $5 flashlight to a $500 flashlight and sometimes even higher.  So what flashlight is the best on the market?  Well that really depends upon what you will be using the flashlight for.  So I guess in the end, there really isn’t a “best” flashlight available. However each category has some nice flashlights to choose from.  So for today, we are just covering the stick flashlight.  Even in this area, you have a ton of options such as these Husky...

Husky Hand Tools

Before we get started I just want to let you know I am not a mechanic nor do I work with hand tools everyday.  When it comes to hand tools, I break them out when I have to put something together for my wife or fix my kids toys.  Maybe one day I will have time for myself and be able to do things I want, but I don’t see that happening in the near future.  So when I talk about hand tools, I am talking about them from a homeowner consumer.  My tool box consists of old Craftsman, Kobalt,...

Husky Portable Jobsite Workbench

We have done some work bench reviews in the past such as the Keter Portable Workbench.  To our surprise, the portable workbench was great.  In fact I am still using it without an issues.  Well now they have another one out, well Husky does.  Keter makes the table for Husky, which is good to know.  I now know Keter and trust the brand.  So with this table, knowing that Keter makes it for Husky, I am equally as impressed.  So what is so special about this bench, well a lot. First the bench is only $70, not bad for...

Husky 46 in. 8-Drawer Mobile Workbench

We always get asked what is the workbench that we use in our videos.  It is the Husky 46 in. 8-Drawer Mobile Workbench.  We have 2 of them and I like them for a few reasons.  They are under $300 and have a replaceable work top.  The mobile workbench serves 2 purposes, it is a 8 drawer tool box.  I can easily wheel it around loaded with ll my tools.  It also is a workbench that I move just about anywhere. Build quality on the bench is excellent.  In-fact more than one person has told me that they would put...

Husky 52 in. 18-Drawer Tool Chest and Cabinet Set

Sometimes big box branded items don’t get the credit they deserve.  I think that applies to Husky, the Home Depot brand of tools. Husky makes plenty of items and a lot of them are of good quality. When we first got our hands on the 52″ tool chest we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and detail that went into it. The box uses roller bearing drawers that have a 100 lb capacity each.  The drawers move in and out smoothly especially with weight in them.  The problem with a lot of tool boxes is that your tools slide...

Husky Clip Board

Dan was walking through Home Depot the other day and came across this great find.  Dan being Dan just had to buy it, even though he has no use for it.  So here we are and now I am telling you about.  When I used to snow plow I don’t know how many times I was reaching for my paperwork so I could document hours, snow fall, billing and more.  I never could find the right clip board.  Now that I am no longer snow plowing, I find a pretty good clip board.  Well that seems to be my...

Husky 20 Gallon Compressor F2S20VWD

We have done a lot of compressor reviews, but we just started looking at the Husky line which is offered at Home Depot.  A couple days ago we did the 3 gallon compressor which is a pretty good compressor, so we thought we would follow up with a 20 gallon Husky compressor.  The model number isF2S20VWD so lets jump in. Having a high capacity compressor is great to have in your garage for a variety of reasons and applications.  This 20 gallon Husky uses a 1.5 hp (15 Amp) induction motor with an oil free pump.  Having an oil...

Husky 3 Gallon Portable Air Compressor – L13HPD

We have reviewed a lot of compressors over the years, but I think this is our first Husky compressor.  Husky is a brand you can find at your local Home Depot store.  Before using this compressor, the only experience I have with Husky is using some of their hand tools which have always been pretty good.  Husky is a brand geared towards your weekend warrior and not your professional.  Not that we’re saying professionals don’t buy this brand, but it just seems you will find this brand more in the home, than a job site. This Husky compressor has a...

Husky Caulk Tool

Every once in a while we come across a cool little tool that will make a job easier.  Having the right tool for the job makes all the difference.  Well, today we found the Husky 3 in 1 Caulk tool.  As we know caulk can be a messy job and quick frankly removing caulk can be a pain.  Last week we remodeled part of a bathroom.  The owner wanted to keep the existing bathtub, but just clean it up a little.  We went out to the truck grabbed our tools and went to work.  When it came time...
