Dewalt Heat Gun D26960 – Review

Is it hot in here or is it just me!  No it’s the DEWALT D26960.  I have gone through 3 heat guns, 2 were borrowed and never returned and one was dropped.  The time had come for a quality heat gun that I will never loan out! Specifications: Watts 1550W Voltage 120V Amps 13Amps Temperature 150 to 1100°F Max CFM 17.7CFM Weight 2.3lbs Power Cord 10ft 1550watts and drawing 13 Amps this tool dims the block when you turn it on, but it produces some serious heat, from 150 degrees to a scorching 1100 degrees this is one pro heat gun. It features a built in overload protection circuit that shuts off the tool to prevent the heating element from burning up.  It ways 2.3 lbs and is ergonomic and easy to control. The unit comes with a cone and fishtail surface nozzle that easily slides on the tip of the unit. At the bottom of the unit is an ingenious stand for setting the tool down and letting it cool without the risk of torching the surroundings.  A hang ring is also at the bottom of the tool allowing you to easily hang the tool for storage. Now the cool part, the D2960 has an LCD panel that allows you to set your temperature and also doubles as a temperature gauge. It is adjustable in 50 degree increments....
