Hilti SID 4-A22 Impact Driver

About four years ago we reviewed the Hilti SID 18-A Cordless Impact Driver.  Since then, this has been my go to driver, I love it.  So when Hilti said they have another impact driver in the 22V line, I knew it was something I wanted to try out.  Now I have to admit, I am a huge Hilti fan.  Not because they pay us, but it has been one of those tools that have never let me down.  I am not saying they don’t break or they don’t have defective tools, but I rarely every talk to someone who said...

Bosch 12V Impact Driver

Bosch may not have the largest 12V line on the market, but the tools they have out for the 12V line, well let’s just say they rock.  I am a huge fan of Bosch power tools, but I think they make the most comfortable 12V tools.  For me, I think it is the highest quality 12V tool you can buy.  Well, it may come as no surprise to you, but this 12V impact driver isn’t any different and Bosch didn’t disappoint.  The PS42 should be your next buy if you are looking for a 12V line.  No, they don’t...

Makita Sub-Compact Drill/Driver and Impact

Talk about reinventing the drill/driver and the impact, Makita did just that with their new Sub -Compact tools.  Now before you jump on my case and say these aren’t the most powerful 18V drill/driver and impacts on the market, that isn’t what Makita is going for with these two new tools.  Let’s face it, most of the time you don’t use a drill/driver or impact to it’s fullest extent and you don’t need all that power.  So with that said, why carry all the extra weight around with you all day?  Why fight the added power and the added weight...

Kobalt 24V Cordless Power Tools

You may remember a while back we were fortunate enough to take a trip to Vegas and learn about the new Kobalt 24V line of power tools.  If you shop at Lowes, you are familiar with Kobalt tools since they are the house brand for Lowes.  I have to admit that when I heard Kobalt was coming out with new tools, I didn’t have high expectations.  Not that Kobalt was bad, it just wasn’t at the top of my list with their older version.  Awhile back they came out with some power tools, but then you never really heard from...

Milwaukee Surge Review – M18 Quiet Hydraulic Driver 2760

Well Milwaukee Tool is at it again with another tool in their M18 line.  As you know, Milwaukee likes to think outside the box.  They want to design tools for the tradesmen to solve their problems and make their life easier.  When I say tradesmen, I am not talking about just electrical or plumbing, they are building tools for all the trades.  Milwaukee doesn’t look at designing a product based on the traditional methods, such as they will build it only if there is a big enough audience.  Instead Milwaukee looks at the problems tradesmen are facing and designs a product...
